Each desk in the approval chain, with the value it is holding right now.

follow whatever project, vendor and trade filters are set at the top.
In-progress bills — unpaid, by project
Every bill not yet paid, grouped by project, with PR, PO, Audit and Finance sign-off dates and the amount requested.
Vendor contract position — last bill only
One row per vendor contract. Contract value, work done, retention and back charge
are read off that vendor’s latest bill; paid is the cash released across all their bills.
Click a row to filter the whole dashboard to that vendor.
Bill history —
Every bill raised against this contract, oldest first. The row marked
LAST is the one feeding the cards above.
Payments released by month
Cash actually leaving the account.
Contract value by trade
Contract value by trade, from last bills.
Bill register — every bill, all details
Newest first. Every bill of every vendor with the resolved vendor name,
bill number, all amounts and every approval date. LAST marks
the bill used for that vendor’s cumulative figures.

Rate band by work category
Lowest, average and highest built-up rate per unit in each category.
Rate completeness
Items whose build-up still has an unrated component. These cannot be priced yet.

🔍
Type any words in any order — searches code, description, spec, category, unit and every material / labour line. Press / or Ctrl+K to jump here.
Actual purchase rates, as received. Every item received on site, with the rate of its
latest GRN and every earlier receipt. Units are in house units: GRNs billed per cubic metre, metre or
square metre are converted to Cft, Rft and Sft, and the GRN unit is kept in the history.
+ Rate DB copies an item’s latest GRN rate into the Rate Database as a verified line,
with the GRN, date and vendor written into its remarks. Purchase orders (Type: Purchase orders,
marked PO) are the item lines of the Sage PO books — the rate ordered, before any PO-level discount
and tax; they have no item code, and only appear here (the trends and the Rate Database check use GRN receipts).

Auto-watch — government rate schedules
Checked every day at 06:30 by the rate watch. A new KPK edition that parses and validates is offered as a pull request, and appears here once it is merged; anything it cannot load is raised as a GitHub issue.

Every chapter of the schedule, kept separate. Click one to list only its items.
KPK MRS rate analysis
Escalation by item
Click an item to draw its trend. Red = dearer, green = cheaper. “Per year” is the compound yearly rate over the months chosen; “Last month” compares with the previous PBS month on file.
Price trend
Escalation calculator
Brings an amount priced in one month to another month by the PBS rate of one item in the city chosen above (price variation / escalation claims).
City comparison
Green = cheapest city for that item, red = dearest. “–” = not available in the PBS table.
Monthly rate history
Laboratory mix design records
One rate, everywhere. Every rate analysis references these lines by code,
so changing a rate here re-prices every affected item, BOQ line and cost summary instantly.
Enter the source and the date you took the rate — the colour follows the source, not the number.
Material, labour & plant rate database
V — verified, dated source (PO / GRN / signed quote) I — dated market indication, no PO backing A — assumption or unrated, confirm before use
Project particulars
Printed on the BOQ and cost summary headers.
Bill of Quantities
Cost summary
Category split with cost per Sft against covered area.
Bill totals
Note on additions.
Overheads and profit are already carried inside each built-up rate (rows G and H of every analysis).
The percentages below are a bill-level addition — leave them at zero unless your rates
were entered net of overhead and profit, otherwise you will double-count.
Calculation settings
Defaults applied to new analyses and to every generated mix.
House standard build-up.
A Material → B Wastage (on material only) → C Labour → D Plant →
E Access / cradle → F Transport → subtotal → G Overheads → H Profit → rate per unit.
Dry-volume factor 1.54 for concrete, 1.30 for mortar; 50 kg cement bag = 1.250 cft.
Data safety
Everything lives in this browser only. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Back up regularly. Clearing browser data, switching device or using a
private window will lose the rate library. Export the JSON backup after any significant editing session.
Hard reset. Wipes every item, rate, BOQ line and setting stored in this
browser and rebuilds the library from the seeded defaults. This cannot be undone.
Import items from CSV
Column headers are matched automatically. Rows with problems are listed rather than silently dropped.
Expected columns (any order, case-insensitive):
Category, Sub-category, Description, Specification, Unit, Material Rate, Labour Rate, Plant Rate,
Wastage %, Overhead %, Profit %. Any missing numeric column is read as zero and the item is flagged unrated.
