Your drawings stay on this computer. PDFs and takeoffs are saved in this browser's storage (IndexedDB) on this device only — nothing is uploaded, and another browser or computer will not see them. Use Export → Project + PDFs to move a takeoff with its drawings in one file (Project (.json) carries the measurements only; a PDF added again is checked against the drawing it was measured on, by its content, not its name). Vector PDFs exported from CAD snap to their lines; scanned PDFs can be measured but do not snap.
